About Canadian Churches
People look for a church at turning points: after a move to a new city, when a baby is born, before a wedding, at Christmas and Easter, or when they arrive in Canada and want a congregation that worships in their language. Canadian Churches lists every Christian church in the country by city, denomination and language, so that search ends with a phone number, an address and a service time instead of a dozen tabs.
We are not affiliated with any church or denomination, and we list every group that calls itself Christian under the name it uses for itself.
Where the listings come from
Church details are compiled from public listings and each church's own website: names, addresses, phone numbers, websites and open hours. We check every place against what it actually is, so restaurants, offices and buildings that only share a name with a church are left out. Denominations come from what the church calls itself; where we can't tell, the church is listed as a Christian church until it tells us more.
Service times
Service times come from the church: either the church adds them after claiming its listing, or we copy them from the church's own website and say so, with the date we checked. We never guess a service time.
How churches are ordered
Within a city, Featured churches come first and are labelled. After that come churches that manage their own listing, then churches that publish their service times, then the rest by how complete their listing is. There are no ratings or reviews on this site.
Churches
If your church is here, claim it to add your service times, languages, photos and Christmas and Easter services. Once claimed, data updates never overwrite your changes. If it isn't here, add it free.
Corrections and removals
Every listing has a “Report a problem” link. If a listing shows personal information, use it or see removing a listing. Removal requests are handled first.
What we don't do
- We don't rank churches by ratings, publish reviews, or take sides between denominations.
- We don't sell placements except a labelled Featured listing, whose links are marked as sponsored.
- We don't show ads on church pages.
